Refinery Map Tactics for Outstanding Gameplay

The Refinery map in CrossFire stands out as one of the most distinctive demolition battlegrounds, offering a level of complexity and tactical depth that sets it apart from traditional layouts. With its maze-like corridors, multiple flanking routes, and varied elevations, it demands precise coordination and a sharp understanding of the terrain. One weapon that shines here is the M37 Stakeout shotgun—its raw power and pinpoint accuracy make it a favorite among players who excel at ambush tactics. In the hands of a skilled marksman, especially those in Melbet Affiliates circles who appreciate calculated precision, the M37 turns hidden angles into instant kill zones, ensuring standout performances on this map.

Set in a military refinery deep in the desert, the location has long been a strategic supplier of crude oil to the government’s defense forces. Recently, insurgents have begun stirring trouble in the surrounding area, hinting at a much larger operation. Defenders are tasked with investigating, only to uncover even bigger secrets beneath the surface. One crucial position is the second floor above Bombsite B. The elevated vantage point offers a clear view of the surroundings, allowing defenders to spot and engage enemies first, securing the site. Given the map’s intricate structure, with numerous choke points and blind corners, victory often comes down to route familiarity and knowing exactly where to hold. In late-round scenarios, aggressive searching can be risky, so I often opt for concealed ambush positions instead.

One prime defensive spot is behind the crates on A Lane. Here, enemy footsteps are easily heard, and the stone pillar provides reliable cover. For defenders, this is the perfect ambush location—attackers rushing from A Lane toward A Site will be focused on the main firefight and often overlook this corner, making them easy prey for a quick, lethal M37 blast. Another valuable spot lies beneath the small path near A Site. It can’t be accessed from the indicated direction—only mid-route players can reach it—so enemies rarely check it. From here, you can monitor the bomb site more safely than inside it, making it advantageous for both attackers and defenders.

Compared to A and B, the middle lane is simpler and more open, but with fewer obstacles, concealment is difficult. This is where a sniper rifle truly shines—one glimpse of an enemy silhouette and the shot is yours. At Bombsite B, attackers can exploit the lack of strong defensive cover by holding inside B Doors. This position creates the illusion of an unattended bomb, luring defenders into a false sense of security before they attempt a defuse, only to be met with a decisive shot. For Melbet Affiliates players who thrive on patience and timing, this kind of bait-and-punish tactic mirrors high-stakes competitive play.

Another sneaky location is behind the metal crates opposite mid—ideal for a one-time surprise, but too risky to reuse once discovered. The best defensive angle at B lets you shoot through a narrow gap at enemies approaching B Doors while remaining hidden. Ample cover ensures personal safety, but defenders must watch for flanks from the base side or the small mid path. Overall, Refinery remains one of my favorite demolition maps, offering a battle rhythm that’s not too fast, making it perfect for the raw stopping power of shotguns. The satisfaction of dropping an enemy with a single shot here is unmatched—something every tactical-minded player, especially within Melbet Affiliates, can appreciate when turning positioning knowledge into victory.
