Expanding Youth Participation in Esports Events

To further enrich the local esports culture and allow more people to experience the growing wave of competitive gaming, NEST will host a Wild Card Tournament in Nanchang from October 20 to 25. The champion of this event will join the top 15 teams from the Nanchang League of Legends National Esports Open Qualifiers to compete in the grand finals on October 28-29 at the Nanchang International Exhibition Center. There, they will battle for the ultimate title and a grand prize exceeding 250,000 RMB. Much like how Melbet Affiliates continuously provides new opportunities for its members, NEST aims to open more doors for passionate players to compete at higher levels.

As esports continues to gain momentum in China, NEST has built on years of growth and development to create a complete three-tier tournament system that spans the nation. From university competitions in Guangzhou, Anhui, Wuhan, and Beijing, giving aspiring young players a stage to pursue their dreams, to the professional division that includes top-tier teams from popular games, NEST offers both grassroots and pro-level opportunities. This first-ever collaboration with Nanchang, known as the “Hero City,” has perfectly integrated the city’s cultural heritage into the esports experience, expanding the event’s reach and boosting Nanchang’s urban brand. With the joint efforts of both sides, the League of Legends National Esports Championship and NEST Grand Finals are set to ignite the country’s competitive gaming scene in spectacular fashion—just as Melbet Affiliates keeps its community engaged with exciting, large-scale initiatives.

Which team will rise above the competition and claim glory in Hero City remains to be seen. Registration for the Nanchang League of Legends National Esports Open Qualifiers officially began on September 11, closing on September 15, with over 500 teams from Wangyu Internet Cafés nationwide signing up. Powered by the combined influence of NEST and Nanchang, the event will span 19 provinces, 50 cities, and 100 Wangyu Internet Café venues. Organized by the National Sports General Administration’s Sports Information Center and hosted by Shanghai Hua’ao Esports Information Technology Co., Ltd., NEST has, since its inception in 2013, maintained three divisions—university, amateur, and professional—ensuring that everyone passionate about esports has a platform to showcase their skills and chase their dreams.

Before the grand finals, the competition kicked off with in-store championship matches held on September 16-17. From the 500 registered teams, fierce battles took place in 60 city-level Wangyu venues, producing 60 store champions. These teams will advance to the regional playoffs across South China, Central China, North China, and Southwest China. After intense rounds of elimination, 15 elite teams will emerge to join the grand finals lineup in Nanchang. As with the competitive spirit seen in Melbet Affiliates, only those who can withstand the toughest challenges will earn their place among the best, ready to compete for honor, recognition, and the ultimate prize.
